Migrated website = Broken Photo Gallery
Site5.com - the web hosting company who hosts this website - has a fantastic special right now for multi-site shared hosting. You can host six websites, each with unlimited domain pointers, for just $99 per year. That’s just under $9 per month to host multiple sites. Not too bad.
I couldn’t resist the opportunity to consolidate a couple of hosting accounts and save a few bucks, so I migrated tdavis.net to one of these accounts. Everything went quite well with the Wordpress migration (basically just mysqldump and rsync). However, I was not so lucky with the photo galleries. Something is seriously broken with gallery2 on the new site, and frankly, I’m not going to take the time to debug it.
Soooo, you know what that means, more pictures will be moved over to flickr.
By the way, if you want to sign up for one of these ultra-cheap multi-site hosting accounts with site5.com, be sure to note that you heard about it from taylordavis.com.
New Photo Galleries: April and “Best Of”
Hello loyal blog reader[s]. I have uploaded two new photo galleries to the photos section of this website. One is a top-level Favorite Pics or “Best Of” photo gallery. Currently there are about 800 pictures on the website, and only eight pictures in the “Favorites” gallery. That’s only about 1%. So, either I’m not taking very many good pictures, or my threshold for what should be in a “Favorites” gallery is too high. What do you think?
Also, I uploaded a few pictures for the month of April. Other than the weekend at the Tour De Georgia, April wasn’t a big photo month for us. There are a couple of cute pics of our new niece Charlie. [Congratulations, Amy, Kirk and Kenzie!]
Photos are back!
I just posted a whole bunch of photos from the recent Davis family trip to Hilton Head. There are a bunch of cute pics of Jacob and Mackenzie, so go check them out!

Well, the picture shows up, but apparently the template needs to be modified — cause that’s not what I expected.
