Baby Kate Arrives!

Baby Kate!Thursday evening, Kelly, Jacob and I went to Scalinis so that Kelly could get some Eggplant Parmesan. Friday morning, we went to the doctor for a previously scheduled appointment. The doc said to head straight on over to the hospital to have the baby.

We checked into the hospital at noon, and Baby Kate was born at 2:32 pm. (If you’re keeping score at home, that adds up to an intense two hours and thirty-two minutes. Yowzas.) So, yes, the Eggplant Parmesan did its job.

Since then, Kate has been sleeping a lot and looking cute.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Height: 20.5 inches.
  • Weight: 8 lbs 1 ounce.
  • Hair: black, fuzzy.
  • Fingernails: Long.
  • Face: round, cute; alleged (but unconfirmed) dimple sightings.
  • Pictures.

Mom, Dad, big brother Jacob and Baby Kate are all doing great!
